Strengthening Biblical Interpretation: Transformative Training in Migade

From 12th to 16th May, the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (P.A.G.) Uganda hosted Module 1 of the Bible Interpretation Training in Migade, bringing together 80 pastors from across the P.A.G. pastorates and invited leaders from other churches.

The five-day training provided pastors with practical tools for understanding, interpreting, and teaching Scripture with greater clarity and confidence. Beyond strengthening individual ministry leaders, the programme is designed to create a wider impact by equipping participants to mentor and train others within their churches and communities.

The training was led by Rev. Dr. Davidson Chifunlo, Director for Training at Veritas College International, who guided participants through practical approaches to Biblical interpretation. The hands-on sessions focused on helping pastors engage Scripture responsibly and communicate its message effectively in their teaching and preaching ministries.

By bringing together leaders from different pastorates and church backgrounds, the training also created an opportunity for learning, collaboration, and shared ministry experience. The knowledge and skills gained are expected to continue beyond the training venue as participants apply what they learned and equip others in their respective communities.
